The Brooklands residential directors, are delighted to let you know that, as the clock strikes midnight on New Year's Eve, Brooklands will bid farewell to RMG Property Management services. RMG were engaged by the developer Miller Homes, to collect and disburse our service charge funds covering the maintenance of our three managed blocks and also the shared open spaces, such as our greens and the playground area.
Our new property managing agent will be Inspired Property Management [InspiredPM], of Doncaster. They will be reaching out to all Brooklands property owners, with information about how to register with their online portal service, in place of the existing service provided via RMG Living online. We will update this information on our website as soon as it becomes available.
In the meantime, we suggest you download all of your historical records and statements currently available via RMG Living online portal, as these will not be available following handover to Inspired at year end.
For those of you in the process of selling, please contact sales@inspiredpm.co.uk for the necessary sales pack documentation and for other property ownership transfer advice. You may also contact your residential directors via contact@brooklandsgainsborough.uk hoe help and advice.
Please also ensure that your 2023 service charge payments are not paid to RMG. Inspired will issue new invoices with payment instructions prior to the end of this year. However, should you have an outstanding balance on your current year's account we recommend you settle by mid-December 2022, as InspiredPM will be more robust in chasing overdue service charge amounts via the courts.
Our Brooklands tenants via Martin & Co, will be informed by them regarding any changes that affect your tenancy. Likewise, if you contract with your landlord directly, they should keep you informed.
Derwent tenants - soon to be known only as 'Places for People' will manage any requirements resulting from the handover to InspirePM.
2023 should welcome in positive improvements to our shared open spaces as funds allow. We have engaged new and more locally based ground care, cleaning and maintenance companies to cut costs we pay at present for contractor travel expenses and third-party fees.
